Tough Times...

Well this post is much different that any other I have ever posted, no funny stories, cute pics or talks of how crazy great life is right now.  Truth is we are extremely blessed but life is tough  right now...

Last week one of Jason's players was severely injured in a football game.  We are praying and believing that he will heal!

New perspective...I think so!

I know that you learn something new everyday but learning how...
--to not question
--to believe something good will come out of this
--to look kid's in the eye and expect them to perform although you are scared to death
--not let the devil take over your thoughts of what if's
--supporting your husbands love of his job, even though he is hurting
--not cry when you want to
--accept things

I also learned that our little town has pulled together and is supporting each other, kids and a hurting family.

Please send your prayers this way...

This past week has had ALOT of downs but we are moving forward and looking up....figuratively and literally praising and praying.   As one of my best friends says...

  1. We are praying for you, Jason, Jason's athletes, and for the town of Vega.

I read this a few years ago (I don't know who wrote it): "God paints on a canvas bigger than we can see. While it might look one way in the place we are and the small piece of canvas we can see, God can see the entire picture he is painting and it is something beautiful."
