Since July 1st - July 27 we have been home a total of 4 nights, it really hasn't been too bad. Some of the time gone was to see great friends and other times were not so fun. This post is going to be all over the place, please stick with me....time flies when you're havin' fun, right?
July 1-4, 2011
NO literal Fireworks here but of course Maddox makes sure that lot's of FUN was had.

We headed to Wheeler on Friday, went to Maxey's and ate, hollar!!! Then Maddox and I walked in the Ben Britt Memorial Fun Run on Saturday morning with Thomas his mommy Lauren, Hagen and his mommy Cassi.

My dad, Grandy, showed up to play for the weekend. Him and Maddox played in the floor for hours. She quite enjoyed her Grandy. Like Maddox does often, he gets tighter and tighter wrapped around her finger.
July 4-10, 2011
On our way home July 4th Jason got a phone call from his Mom, his Uncle Rusty had unexpectedly passed away from a pulmonary embolism. So we came home, repacked and headed back to Wheeler and on to Oklahoma the next morning. Rusty was a wonderful man. I have never seen so many people at a funeral, estimated about 800 people, 48 of them were Oklahoma State Senators. He will be greatly missed!!

I will start by saying, I have failed in the picture taking department for Maddox's 8th month of life. My camera memory card was full and I have a fear that my computer will crash and I will loose all of my pictures so I will not delete any pictures from my camera. Camera or no camera life still goes on....
You now have TWO teeth, I really thought I would miss that toothless smile but I love the two little teeth that peek through.

July 12-14, 2011---HOME!!!
July 15-27,2011
We left on July 15 and headed to Lubbock for Josh and Marina Kirkland's wedding. Any Kirkland gathering for any reason is always a fun time and feels so comfortable for our little family. My dad came to Lubbock and watched Maddox for us as we did all the wedding festivities!!! Congrats Kirkland's!!

On Wednesday, we headed to Conroe to visit the The Smith Family. They are some of Jason's life long friends. We at dinner and then back to Marcy's to visit for a bit. We got to meet Will's wife Jessie and Gavin.
Thursday morning we got up and headed to Bay City to see my lifelong friends the Rice's, on the way through Wharton 30 minutes from Bay City Jason called Gerry Shore. Gerry was a coach here in Vega and him and his wife Andrea became some good friends of ours. Coach Shore, as most of you know him by, is now a pilot.

One last stop, I dropped Jason off at coaching school in Ft. Worth Sunday afternoon. Maddox and I headed to Grandy's house. We had one last swim with friends on Monday.
